HHSA Membership


By becoming a member of HHSA you not only earn points toward year end awards and prizes, but also gain many other perks! Adult memberships, both riding and non-riding, also hold voting privileges at annual open association meetings. Members enjoy invitations and opportunities to additional events hosted by HHSA annually such as clinics, learning workshops, fundraisers, and the celebration of champions at our annual Year End Awards Banquet. Senior Membership

Senior members are individuals who reached their
18th birthday prior to December 1st of the previous
year. 
Senior members have full voting privileges.
Annual Fee: $40.00


Senior Amateur Members are members who reached their
18th birthday prior to December 1st of the previous year &
comply with USEF Rule GR1306 for amateur certification.
Senior Amateur members have full voting privileges.

Annual Fee: $40.00


Junior Membership
Junior Members are members who HAVE NOT reached their
18th birthday prior to December 1st of the previous year. 
Junior members have voting privileges restricted only to the
nomination and voting of Junior Board members for one-year terms.

Annual Fee: $40.00


Non-Riding Membership
Non-Riding members are individuals of any age who do not ride
for points, but wish to still be a part of the HHSA. Non-Riding
members must be at least 18 years of age to have full voting privileges.

Annual Fee: $25.00


Horse Registration
All horses & ponies must be recorded in order to be eligible for any
year end awards in all performance divisions, or to participate in any
Medal Final. You do not need to be a member to register a horse. 

Annual Fee: $25.00



RIDERS 
A rider must be a member of HHSA for points to count toward year-end awards in any of the Equitation, Medals, or Merited divisions.

Merited divisions (i.e. Leadline, Mini Stirrup, Short Stirrup Equitation, and Long Stirrup Equitation) divisions need not register the animal for points to count toward year-end awards.



HORSES
All animals must be registered with HHSA for points to count toward year-end awards in any Hunter or Pleasure performance divisions, or be eligible to compete in any HHSA Medal Final.
